Bridging Academia and Industry: UiTM Kelantan Academic Visit to RMAICT

It was an exciting and fulfilling week for the RMAICT team in December 2025. Alongside traveling south for strategic meetings, we also hosted visitors from the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia at our office. One of the highlights was welcoming students and a lecturer from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kelantan for an academic visit under the BTM532 Digital Transformation Management course, held at the RMAICT office in Menara Glomac TTDI.

Learning Through Real World Exposure

As part of RMAICT’s CSR initiative, the visit was designed with clear learning objectives in mind. The session aimed to help students:

  • Fulfil course requirements through industry engagement

  • Gain in depth insights into RMAICT’s digital transformation services, products, and best practices

  • Understand how digital technologies are applied in real project environments

  • Strengthen communication and teamwork skills through interactive discussions

  • Appreciate how digital transformation impacts both public and private sector organisations

Rather than focusing on theory alone, the session emphasised practical understanding, real world context, and open dialogue.

Inside RMAICT’s End to End Process

During the visit, the RMAICT team shared an end to end view of how digital transformation works in practice. This included how real world leads are identified, converted into opportunities, and translated into structured project execution through RMAICT’s internal SOPs. We also discussed what digital transformation truly means beyond tools and buzzwords, focusing instead on people, processes, and measurable outcomes.

Shared Values and Regional Impact

We are especially grateful that UiTM selected RMAICT for this academic visit, given that there are limited digital solution providers in Kelantan. The discussion resonated strongly due to shared interests in smart farming and smart green technologies, which align closely with the lecturer’s experience in initiatives such as smart pot projects.

These shared values led to meaningful conversations on how technology can support regional growth and sustainability. Thank you to UiTM Kelantan for spending the day with us. We hope the visit sparked new ideas, clearer career pathways in technology, and a stronger interest in building digital solutions for the region.
